If you have a SpeakerCraft MZC-66 6-Zone, 6-Source Controller/Amplifier or SpeakerCraft MZC-88 8-Zone, 8-Source Controller/Amplifier/Receiver (sold separately) set up in your home to deliver independently controlled whole-house audio to every room in your home, you can connect your iPod to be played through any speakers in your house by connecting the SpeakerCraft MODE Base to your MZC whole-house audio system. The SpeakerCraft MODE Base interfaces with your MZC whole-house audio system through the MODE Adapter, which also delivers its power via a cat. 5 cable.

Connect 6 iPods to Your Whole-House Audio System to Share

The SpeakerCraft MODE Base is a great way to share music with your family members. Dock up to six different iPods (the included inserts allow adaptation for various models), and you'll be able to select any one of them from any location. A 3.5mm mini jack provides a stereo line level input for an additional source, such as a cable/satellite receiver, an XM or Sirius tuner, or even a DVD player.

MODE Keypads Allow Easy Access to iPod Content

Install a wall-mounted SpeakerCraft MODE Keypad in every connected room in your house, and you'll easily be able to access songs and playlists from each connected iPod through this LCD interface. If you connect the SpeakerCraft MODE Base to a PC through its USB jack, you can also download content to any connected iPod.
