Essential Info
If you use the SpeakerCraft SmartPath system for whole-house audio and video IR control, you don't need to accept the untidy appearance of externally placed front panel emitters on your A/V components. The IRE-0.5 Single IR Emitter is a tiny IR emitter that can be placed on the inside of a component near the component's IR sensor. This process also makes the emitter tamper-proof.

The IRE-0.5 Single IR Emitter has a very high IR output, which allows it to blast around internal chassis surfaces and through semi-opaque materials such as printed circuit boards to reach the component's internal IR sensor. The IRE-0.5 Single IR Emitter is equipped with a 3.5mm in-line jack and includes an 8-foot extension cable allowing for a quick disconnect for moving components. Three spare pieces of emitter adhesive are also included.
The IRE-0.5 Single IR Emitter is part of SpeakerCraft's easy-to-install, easy-to-configure SpeakerCraft SmartPath Infrared Repeating System, which is made to transmit any infrared signal, designed to be your pathway to whole-house audio/video control. Expanding your new or existing audio/video system is easy with this SmartPath system, which requires regulated power supply, IR receivers and emitters, all sold separately.
The IRE-0.5 Single IR Emitter resides inside an A/V component. External single and dual IR emitters are also available.
