How it WorksThe coax adapter is located near the TV, providing a connection for an IR receiver, and the coax engine is located near the A/V source, providing an IR emitter output. The included IR receiver takes the commands from your IR remote and injects them onto the coax cable. These commands are delivered to your A/V components via the included dual-head IR emitter, which can be affixed to the IR window of your DVD player, VCR, or cable box.
Expandable System Works with Multiple TelevisionsThe Coax IR Starter Kit comes with a power supply that's powerful enough to support four coax adapters with connected IR receivers. One is included with this kit; additional IR Coax Adapters and stick-type and remote head plasma-proof IR receivers are sold separately.
