Essential Info
If you use the Powermid system to use your existing IR remote to send commands through walls and floors, you can expand your system to control equipment from more than one room with this extra transmitter. Plug the Powermid Extra Transmitter into any standard 120-volt outlet, and it will convert your IR remote's commands into RF signals that can travel up to 100 feet, even through walls and floors, to your A/V components.

Additional Expansion Components AvailableIf your equipment is in a closed cabinet, an optional miniature extension IR emitter that plugs into the back of the receiver can be wired into the cabinet to change the channels from another room. An additional Powermid receiver is also available for use with A/V components set up in more than one location in your home.
