Did you always believe that your plasma screen television precluded the option of installing an infrared repeating system to control components behind closed doors or in another room? That may have been the case once, but Xantech's Plasma-Friendly J-Box Receiver eliminates this problem by rejecting the interference associated with plasma displays from entering the IR signal line. When used with a Xantech connecting block (sold separately), you'll be able to control components located in another room or behind closet doors. Cable and IR emitters are required and sold separately.

The Plasma-Friendly J-Box IR Receiver mounts easily into a single-gang electrical J-Box. The Decora-style box will match a Decora-style plate, should you want to use one. This provides an integrated look for control of A/V equipment behind closed doors or any IR repeater system that is in close proximity to a plasma display.
This IR receiver is a four-screw terminal block that interfaces with Xantech connecting blocks such as the One-Zone Connector Block with One Emitter Out, the One-Zone Connector Block with Four Emitters Out or the 10-Emitter Connecting Block. The connecting blocks then deliver your IR signals to your components.
The Plasma-Friendly J-Box Receiver works in normal 3-wire mode and will work properly near fluorescent lights or direct sunlight. An RF grid is included for EMI reduction. Additional features include a talkback LED for IR reception and full system operation indication.
If you don't have a plasma screen, try the standard J-Box IR Receiver.
