Give it the boost with a compact indoor/outdoor infrared illuminator that floods the surveillance area with infrared light, allowing black & white cameras to capture images almost as clearly as if it were day. The IR Illumniator requires a 24V AC power supply (sold separately).

"This has to be the worst design for an electronic piece of equipment. It's for Outdoor use but has an internal fan to cool the IR LEDS and screen mesh on the bottom of the unit for fresh air intake ( and water during a rain storm !!!) Outdoor electronic equipment should be sealed from the outside elements - additionally, the one I returned had a loose screw rattling around.
