You don't have to sacrifice the security of your home because you own pets. With most ordinary motion detectors, a dog or cat can easy trip the sensor and cause a false alarm. With most cities cracking down on residential false alarms, you could face stiff fines, or be put on a "do not respond" list by local law enforcement.

The Slimline Pet Immune PIR Motion Detector is an updated version of a motion sensor we've sold for years. This new model contains an advanced pet immune PIR detector element and lens system. Using TSI™ (Target Specific Imaging) technology, the detector ensures immunity to pets weighing up to 40 pounds (18 kg).

Reliable Operation
The detector is also notable for its high stability, enhanced RFI protection (greater than 30 V/m), and high-temperature compensation for maximum "catch" performance and unique low-temperature compensation for optimum false-alarm rejection. The pyroelectric sensor is enclosed in a sealed chamber, protected from insects and air drafts.
Adjustable Sensitivity
For maximum flexibility, the sensor can be switched between one and three pulses. (A pulse is a detection by the PIR element.) This allows the sensor to be operated in a maximum sensitivity mode (one pulse) or is a less sensitivity mode (three pulse) where three specific detections are needed before the sensor signals the alarm panel that it has detected motion.
Other Features
Other features include a walk-test LED that allows to you to test the coverage area (the LED may be disabled during normal operation). A tamper detection circuit can be connected to your alarm panel to alert it in case anyone tries to open the sensor. Variable height adjustment allows the sensor to achieve maximum sensitivity when mounted on walls between 6 and 8 feet from the floor.
Works with all hardwired alarm panels. Wires up as a normally-closed zone.
The Slimline Pet Immune PIR Motion Detector can be directly screwed to the wall. However, if precise directional positioning is required, use these swivel brackets:
