Essential Info
Getting the most out of your home theater equipment means having the right components to deliver high quality audio and video. The Panamax M4300-PM Power Conditioner takes the power from your outlets or receptacles and cleans it up to improve your home theater experience. It uses Level 2 Power Cleaning and Linear Filtration to eliminate common symptoms of contaminated power (including loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums and visual artifacts) and allows your A/V equipment to perform up to its full capability. The M4300-PM is designed to provide noise isolation between two isolated outlet banks, reducing cross-contamination between components. A total of nine outlets are available, including four high current outlets so that any noise created by an A/V component can not contaminate the power going to equipment plugged into another outlet bank. Panamax's patent pending Automatic Voltage Monitoring (AVM) circuitry continuously monitors the incoming power as displayed on the digital voltmeter. In case of an undervoltage or an overvoltage, a flashing lightning bolt will be displayed in red in the volt meter. The power to the connected equipment is automatically turned off if either of these conditions is detected. When voltage returns to a safe level, power to the equipment is automatically reconnected. Surge protection and noise filtering are also built-in to protect coaxial connectors for your HD cable or satellite receiver and your telephone lines

Automatic Over & Under Voltage Protection When subjected to a 6,000V (open circuit voltage) / 500A (short circuit current) surge, the M4300-PM limits its voltage output to less than 330V peak, UL's best rating. It will withstand, without damage, 20,000 Ampere surges, far exceeding the UL requirement of only 3,000 Ampere surges. The MOV's are rated for a peak impulse current of 60,000 Amperes, which ensures the safety and durability of the M4300-PM's protection circuitry. If the magnitude of the surge is greater than the capacity of the surge protection components, the M4300-PM's Protect or Disconnect Circuitry will disconnect your equipment in order to protect it (it will need to be repaired or replaced by Panamax if this occurs)
Isolated Banks Your audio/video components are constantly being bombarded by electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) through their AC power source. This contaminated power can affect audio/video equipment and will degrade the overall performance of your entire system. The M4300-PM is designed to eliminate noise contamination, supply clean power to your system and provide noise isolation between the outlet banks so that any noise created by A/V components cannot contaminate the power going to equipment plugged into the other outlet banks.
Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) For improving picture and sound quality nothing filters AC noise better. LiFT evenly eliminates noise across the entire bandwidth, ensuring peak audio and video performance by reducing harmonic distortion and improving the signal-to-noise ratio. With LiFT, you are assured consistent performance and the highest resolution.
Other Features
- A convenient outlet is located on the front panel that is perfect for gaming systems and other electronics.
- A front panel convenience charger for mp3 players, cell phones, and other small electronics
- Two switchable convenience lights to view your media and home theater system when it's dark
- Circuit Breaker that automatically opens when the current load is greater than 15
Amps
- Ground Lug that provides a common grounding point for equipment with separate ground leads
- Two LAN Jacks offer protection circuits for 10/100 baseT Ethernet lines. . 8 wire protection, 50V clamping. Incoming LAN line MUST be plugged into the LINE jack. Patch cord to the equipment MUST be plugged into the EQUIP jacks. 8 wire protection, 50V clamping.
- Two phone Jacks offer protection circuits for standard telephone or pay-per-view lines. Phone circuit is auto-resetting. Incoming phone cord MUST be plugged into the LINE jack. Patch cords to the equipment (satellite receiver, digital video recorder, telephone, etc.) MUST be plugged into the EQUIP jacks. The telephone line protection circuitry utilizes auto-resetting PTCRs and solid-state SIDACtors for reliability and unsurpassed protection. The clamping level of the MAX 4300-PM's telephone protector is 260 volts. This will allow typical ring voltage (90-130VAC) and operating battery voltage (-48DC) to pass through the circuit and still protect the modem in your satellite receiver from damage.
- Two pairs of Universal Coaxial Connectors offer bidirectional protection circuits optimized for satellite, cable, and antenna TV signal lines. Coaxial protection circuits achieve optimum signal quality from our new coaxial protectors that have the smallest signal loss on the market - less than 0.5 db of attenuation from 0Hz to 2.2GHz. Our upgraded coaxial protection has been specifically designed to virtually eliminate signal loss. The clamping level of 75V will meet the demands of both cable and satellite voltage while minimizing exposure to damaging spikes and surges.
