Essential Info
Easy SetupThe RemoteLinc can be set up in less than five minutes to control any connected device remotely using a simple "Plug and Tap" setup process. To control "linked" devices, you can tap one of the RemoteLinc's buttons on or off, or you can hold a button to brighten or dim. Each of the six ON/OFF buttons on the RemoteLinc can be set up to control every light or just one light in the home remotely to create dramatic lighting scenes. INSTEON RemoteLinc Wireless Remote ControlHave you ever wished you could control lighting scenes with a handheld remote from the comfort of your couch? The RemoteLinc is the first wireless remote to send INSTEON commands to your lighting and appliances to control them remotely, turning any INSTEON-compatible device in your home on and off at the press of a button. You can even create multiple lighting scenes and dim lights to romantic levels with this handy wireless remote that fits in your hand. Use any of the six buttons to control up to 417 INSTEON devices as well as ALL ON & OFF and DIM/BRIGHT. The RemoteLinc includes a customizable label with a clear mylar protector to keep it clean. INSTEON Access Points (& Wireless Phase Couplers) are required for use of the RemoteLinc and are included in the INSTEON RemoteLinc Starter Kit. Note: The INSTEON RemoteLinc is not X10 compatible. INSTEON Access Points (& Wireless Phase Couplers)
INSTEON is a powerful, home-control networking technology that will enhance the comfort, safety, convenience and value of your home. The Access Point is the most important part of the INSTEON network. Access Points allow RF-only INSTEON devices (like a RemoteLinc) to send commands to power line-only INSTEON devices (like a LampLinc). If you need more coverage for your INSTEON RF devices, you only need to add another Access Point. Also, when used in pairs, Access Points can couple the phases in your electrical wiring allowing commands to freely travel to all locations in your home. What is INSTEON?

INSTEON LampLinc (3-pin)
Fill your home with personalized mood lighting for any occasion. INSTEON LampLinc is a full-featured plug-in lamp dimmer that can be remotely controlled by any INSTEON controller. This simple-to-use plug-in dimmer has advanced features like an adjustable ramp rate that slowly brings the lamp on, a preset dim level that stores your preferred choice of 32 brightness levels when turning the lamp on initially, as well as local control, so you can still use the lamp's built-in switch to turn the light on and off. INSTEON LampLinc is made to be plugged into a 3-pin grounded outlet. If the ground is not necessary or your outlets have only two pins, try INSTEON LampLinc 2-Pin instead. This dimmer switch can control incandescent bulbs. If you need to control a fluorescent light fixture or a non-dimmable appliance, try INSTEON ApplianceLinc 3-Pin.
Easy To Install
INSTEON LampLinc is easy to plug in and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to add INSTEON LampLinc dimmers to all of your lamps. Just unplug the lamp, plug the lamp into the bottom outlet of the dimmer, and plug in the dimmer where the lamp was plugged in. Link the dimmer to your INSTEON RemoteLinc using the simple programming method, and you'll be able to turn the lamp on and off, brighten and dim.
Control All of Your Lights from Your Couch
Using the included INSTEON RemoteLinc, you'll be able to turn all INSTEON-compatible devices in your home on and off at the press of a button. The Access Point bridges the RemoteLinc's RF signals to your home's power line, delivering power and scene commands to INSTEON-compatible devices throughout the house.
