Now you can extend the wireless control of your home to include the temperature with the Homeseer RCS TZ16 Z-Wave Thermostat, a full-featured universal thermostat with serial communications that can be activated at the display unit, using a Z-Wave remote control, or using commands from your PC.

The Z-Wave Thermostat consists of three parts. The wall display unit functions as a traditional thermostat and connects to the HVAC control unit by a four-wire cable. The control unit connects at the HVAC system using the standard thermostat connections and provides the temperature control of the system. The adapter bridge provides connection to your home's Z-Wave network. Communication through your PC requires a HomeSeer USB Z-Wave Interface.
The Z-Wave Thermostat maintains separate heating and cooling set points; the LCD display shows the set point of the current operating mode.
In addition to the universal standard or heat pump HVAC systems support, the Z-Wave Thermostat has multistage heating/cooling system outputs. The control unit can support two stages of heating and cooling for standard systems or three stages of heating and two stages of cooling for heat pump systems.
The Z-Wave Thermostat also has a convenient setup mode from the wall display unit from which you can set the network address, Fahrenheit or Celsius display mode, and easily calibrate the internal and all attached remote sensors (sold separately).
The Z-Wave Thermostat can be used with system controllers that support the Z-Wave thermostat protocol.
