Control multiple lights and appliances in and around your house with a controller that doesn't even need to be plugged in. By using radio frequency technology, Z-Wave components require no wiring, and since each module includes a repeater function, adding more modules to your Z-Wave network actually improves reliability. The Z-Wave Master Remote Controller will manage up to 192 Z-Wave devices and is powered only by four AA batteries (sold separately). Note: Z-Wave technology is not X10 compatible.

The Master Remote Controller has 12 channels, pairs of on/off/dim buttons to control individual devices or groups of up to 16 devices; it can control up to 192 devices in and around your home. Mount it on a wall or station it on a tabletop for maximum convenience. You'll appreciate its large, easy-to-read LCD display that helps with the easy programming and use.
The Master Remote Controller offers multiple timing functions, including an astronomic feature that will control lights based upon the sun's rising and setting time. Choose from any of eight dimming levels for each lamp controlled. Up to 28 events can be programmed, and the all on/off feature will turn all lights on or off with the press of a single button.
Each device to be controlled will require a Lamp Module or an Appliance Module (sold separately); two-way feedback confirms that each device is set up and working properly. Once set up, you'll be able to turn incandescent lights on and off and dim them using the Master Controller or turn appliances on and off; take advantage of the manual override function to turn the devices off at their source.
You can expand your Z-Wave network by adding Outdoor Lamp Modules, which can also be controlled using the Master Remote Controller. The In-Wall Switch/Dimmer replaces a standard wall switch to control a single light. Save by purchasing a Z-Wave Starter Kit, which includes a Master Remote Controller and two Lamp Modules. A Handy Controller is also available, to control six devices or groups of devices.
