Touch screens are the cutting edge of home automation, and with this version of the HAI OmniTouch 5.7" LCD Touch Screen Plug'n'Play Controller with Video you can take advantage of this technology in Spanish. It works in conjunction with an HAI Central Automation Controller to control other HAI devices to activate lighting, arm and disarm the security system, operate a garage door, set off a panic alarm, change the temperature and perform various other functions. In addition to all that, it has the capability to monitor video from up to six surveillance cameras, sold separately. This automation controller has a colorful plug'n'play touch screen interface on a 5.7-inch LCD screen. It gives you graphical control at the press of a finger for security, surveillance, HVAC, lighting and other home control functions via easy-to-recognize icons.

Video Streaming
Ideal for seeing visitors at the front door, pool, garage or nursery, the HAI OmniTouch 5.7" LCD Touch Screen Plug'n'Play Controller with Video (Spanish) can show full-color digital video at 4 frames per second from any of up to six cameras (sold separately). In order to utilize the streaming video capability, connect the Omni Touchscreen with Video to either a Touch Screen Hub with Enclosure or a Touch Screen Hub with Mounting Plate using Cat. 5 cable, and the display will set itself up based on the preferences you've already programmed into the system. The single Cat. 5 cable will distribute power, data, and video.
Programs
Construct and edit basic automation programs for lighting and temperatures, such as schedules to activate specific devices at specific times on the days you choose. Set the Omni Touch Screen with Video to display the front door camera automatically when the doorbell rings or the pool camera if motion is detected in the pool area. You can even connect a door strike mechanism to release the door lock to let visitors in.
Monitor
The LCD screen has backlighting that adjusts automatically to ambient lighting conditions and turns off when not in use. There's a front-panel LED that changes color to indicate status.
Icons
The Omni Touch Screen with Video's has touch sensitive responsive icons that facilitate control at the press of a finger. Control lights and small appliances, arm and disarm security, monitor surveillance cameras, adjust pool and spa temperatures, open and close ventilation, illuminate decorative lighting and other items.
